PASSION THAT KNOWS
Show jumping like you’ve never seen it before! That’s the challenge which Christophe Ameeuw, Founder and CEO of EEM, and his teams have been taking on for the past 15 years, so that equestrian sports can play their deserved starring role on the international scene.
Christophe Ameeuw truly has a passion for horses and equestrian sports. After creating Les Ecuries d’Ecaussinnes, which have since gained world-wide recognition Christophe Ameeuw and his teams set out to share their passion and reinvent show jumping by holding equestrian events like none another. They came up with the concept of the “Masters”, which brought together, under the same roof, the best in show jumping, performance and art of living, organising smash events such as the Audi Masters in Brussels, followed soon after by the Gucci Masters in Paris.
Since then, the company has set its sights on new continents, aiming to conquer them with such events as the international Longines Masters Series now recognized as one of the world’s most prestigious events. Now the Paris event that no one wants to miss, the series put down roots in Hong Kong in 2013, garnering the award for “Best Live Experience for a Professional Sporting Event” at the 2016 Sports Industry Awards & Conference. Its next chosen home base was the United States, in 2014. After convening equestrian sports lovers and aficionados to Los Angeles for its first big events, the Longines Masters will make its US stop this year in the New York, the city where anything is possible! The inaugural Longines Masters of New York will take place from April 26-29, 2018 at the recently-renovated NYCB LIVE, Home of The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
What’s more, EEM’s innovative juices never run dry and for this 3rd season, it will be launching two new events of international reach:
- The Riders Masters Cup, the new team competition offering a truly legendary showdown between the best riders from the US and Europe. Two rounds held respectively in Europe and the United States will have audiences on the edges of their seats, passionately rooting for their teams and continents.
- Asia Horse Week, to be hosted by the Longines Masters of Hong Kong. With this new event, EEM offers a meeting place for the international equestrian community, and supports the development of equestrian sports in Asia-Pacific.
Last but definitely not least, alongside the exceptional equestrian events it hosts, EEM invests to develop the careers of distinguished international riders.
